Dal splitting stones are mainly used on 18″ and 24″ chakki machines. Dal splitting stones are used on the last pass to split dal in two parts. It is mainly used for Chana dal, Mung dal, Masoor dal and Urad dal. Life of Sterling’s Vitrified bonded dal splitting stones is approx 4 times higher than local stone. It equally splits pulse into two parts. Also powder formation will be less compared to local stones.
